Special Instructional Assistant-Level II (MTES)
About The Position
Applicants must meet the requirements for a Title I paraprofessional, including: Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent and Must have met one of the following options: Completed two years of study (48 credit hours) at an institution of higher education; or Hold an associate's (or higher) degree; or Have passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS. Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to your application to be considered for this position. Pay Rate: Instructional Assistant Grade C2b Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position) Assignment: Full time / 10 months / 183 days Start Date: This position is effective with the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants for the 2026-2027 school year will also be considered.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an instructional assistant in a public school system or experience working with groups of children preferred.
- Basic reading, writing, and computation skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Basic computer skills preferred.
