About The Position
As a special procedure specialist in the Cath Lab, you will play a crucial role in performing fluoroscopy and X-Ray procedures. This includes ensuring that imaging equipment functions properly, prepping contrast injections, and managing image uploads to PACs and EPIC. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- New York State licensure in Radiography.
- Minimum of one year experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
- Proficient in EMR, RIS, PACS, Modality specific software.
Nice To Haves
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography.
- Maintains continuing education credits per American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform fluoroscopy, X-ray, and interventional radiology procedures in the cath lab
- Prep and administer contrast injections safely.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring high quality diagnostics images.
- Upload images to PACS and EPIC.
- Ensure sterile technique and follow infection control standards.
- Support efficient patient flow and minimize delays.
- Perform other job duties as needed
