About The Position

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks a Special Procedures Coordinator for their Cardiac Cath Lab department responsible for operating radiographic and other related equipment and assists physicians as necessary to complete diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures in the Interventional Radiology Department for patients of all ages. Performs lead duties in an assigned section, coordinating patient flow and ensuring that standards of quality are maintained for those areas.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• Valid California Radiologic Technologist certification.
• Valid California Fluoroscopy certification.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Ability to use specialized radiology and other health care equipment.
• One year performing interventional and neurointerventional radiology exams.

Nice To Haves

• ARRT registered in interventional radiology.
• Advanced Life Support certification.
• Two years performing interventional and neurointerventional radiology exams in a hospital environment similar to Cottage Hospital.
