DEKRA North America is seeking a highly adaptable and detail-oriented Special Projects Accountant to join our North America Shared Services team. This role is designed to provide cross-functional transaction support across the accounting organization, ensuring business continuity and promoting work-life balance for the team. The Special Projects Accountant will serve as a flexible operational resource, stepping in across transaction processing functions as needed during peak periods, absences, and special initiatives. The role will also support system updates and enhancements through structured user acceptance testing in partnership with the Financial Systems Administrator. In addition, this position will assist with periodic close responsibilities and support the development of a centralized procurement function. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys variety, process exposure, and continuous improvement within a Shared Services environment.
