Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues with little to no supervision. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Repair, maintain, dismantle structures, furniture, woodwork, doors, folding walls, ceilings, tile, sheetrock and hardware throughout the resort. Visually inspect, diagnoses problems, takes measurements and makes necessary adjustments to items such as door hardware to ensure safe smooth operation of guestrooms, public space, and back of the house facilities. Maintain and repair doors, furniture, windows, hang artwork, headboards, mirrors, etc. Performs shop work to repair or build furniture and small structures. Identifies types and grades of wood and is familiar with hardware materials available to the Carpentry trade. Able to work closely with Vendors and team members to ensure proper quantities of building supplies are always on hand without exceeding the monthly budget. Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests, colleagues, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
