Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? The P&W Earned Value Analysis and Reporting organization is looking for a self-motivated and disciplined individual to join its team. This position provides the candidate with a unique opportunity to interface and work with the Program Management Office and Engineering. While in this role, the ideal candidate will provide guidance and analysis in the areas of Project Management, Budgeting, Scheduling, and Variance Analysis used in the execution of the F135 Development Military Program. The candidate will become an integral part of the F135 program management team, providing analysis and recommendations utilizing Earned Value tools and methodology. Additionally, this role will assist with various system and IT improvements within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of relatable/skill transferable work experience OR an advanced degree with 3+ years of relatable experience.
  • Experience to include: identifying, creating, and implementing process improvements.
  • 2+ years of experience working with business analytics, finance, and/or forecasting, including experience with MS Excel and strong analytical and trending skills.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • BA or BS with a major or concentration in Finance, Data Analytics, Accounting, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
  • Graduate degree in one of the above-mentioned areas.
  • Experience with SAP S4 Hana.
  • Experience with Power BI, VBA, and SQL.
  • Focused on results with the ability to drive tasks to completion.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills – energetic, proactive, and solution-oriented.
  • General understanding and openness to continuous improvement principles.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working across functions, organizations, and levels of management.

  • Knowledge of P&W’s Program Management toolset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and provide guidance to the technical areas as they develop, plan, and analyze tasks.
  • Provide project management guidance to program team to ensure adherence to Earned Value Management System (EVMS) guidelines.
  • Assist with implementation, testing, and evaluation of new Earned Value System software and procedures.
  • Perform risk assessments and what-if analysis associated with task budgeting and program performance.
  • Support Monthly/Quarterly Program Review preparation activities.
  • Actively support monthly Program Estimate-At-Completion reviews.
  • Facilitate monthly data reconciliation.
  • Compile compliant Earned Value or project plan data approved by the program manager and provide to the external customer.
  • Support on-going compliance reviews and periodic process audits (e.g. DCAA, DCMA and Joint Surveillance Review).
  • Support the proper implementation of EVMS and project management through the use of standardized processes, tools, and reports.
