About The Position

Performs fixed asset accounting functions to ensure all fixed assets are accounted for accurately and timely in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives.Essential Functions: Monitor Test Vehicle Tracking System Prepare/print in SAP assigned supplier invoices via posting /parking documents based on Goods receipts, invoices, and approved Purchase Orders or Approval to Pay notices. Each of these should be checked for reasonableness according to HMMA policies and procedures. Reconcile and follow-up on all supplier statements to SAP. Timely and accurate review of purchase requisitions, invoices, and internal orders for compliance with budget control and capitalization policies. Complete month-end closing and reporting duties in a timely and accurate manner to ensure financial integrity in accordance with HMMA policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining fixed asset master in SAP and physical audit requirements. Assist departments with budget transfers and/or supplements. Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements. Meet all other requirements as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent desired
  • 0 – 10 years of job-related experience desired
  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in Accounting and manufacturing preferred
  • MS Word
  • MS Excel
  • MS PowerPoint
  • SAP preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation desired
