About The Position

In short, as a Specialist, Funding Resolution you will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and resolving exceptions. You will work directly with our operations team and evaluate their request pertaining to exception policy review. In long, you will: Assess loan origination exceptions, including discrepancies in documentation, underwriting conditions and compliance issues Work closely with operational teams to gather necessary information and facilitate the resolution of exceptions Maintain a detailed record of exceptions and resolutions provided for reporting and compliance purposes Monitor and track exception trends to identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to mitigate risk Ensure all loan origination activities comply with applicable regulations and well as internal policies and procedures Provide exceptional service to internal operations teams by addressing inquiries in a timely and professional manner Stay up to date on regulatory changes and best practices to loan origination and exception management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in loan origination, understanding or exception manager within the financial industry
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
