The American Lung Association has an excellent opportunity for a Specialist, Health Promotions Working as a member of the Health Promotion & Education department, you will join an outstanding group of professionals dedicated to our mission: to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through research, education, and advocacy. The Specialist, Health Promotions will be Responsible for implementing health systems change as part of the CT Best Practices in Tobacco Control grant. Includes working with health care providers throughout Connecticut to introduce new protocols to address tobacco addiction, working with community coalitions to coordinate tobacco control efforts, and increasing access to tobacco cessation resources and support for disparate communities. This is a 100% grant-funded position. Location: Connecticut If near the East Hartford, Connecticut office location, this role will be hybrid and require a minimum of two days per week in the office. We are also considering remote applicants and encourage candidates across the state of Connecticut to apply.
