THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL, ON CALL, STEADY EXTRA POSITION. The role involves developing and coordinating tournaments in all gaming areas, including Slots, Tables, and VIP functions. Responsibilities include maintaining tournament budgets, coordinating locations, rooms, food, equipment, and personnel for tournaments, and maintaining records of tournament details such as names and addresses of participants, gift distribution, and entry fee collection. The position requires interaction with VIP Services and Casino Marketing Departments to coordinate all aspects of customer attendance at tournaments and events, as well as promoting positive customer relations. Additional tasks include coordinating ordering and purchasing of event gift items, assisting in developing event themes and menus, registering guests for special events, distributing prizes, and ensuring compliance with the Indiana Gaming Commission. The role also involves arranging banquet space, entertainment, decorations, and tracking leftover inventory from events.
