Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our team in the role of Specialist- Practice Operations This Specialist will provide support in practice operations for the organization and reports to the Service Line Administrator. They will monitor budgets and practice targets, evaluate and implement policies and procedures, manage projects, and work with all levels of management and physicians to accomplish goals. The Practice Operations Specialist will provide interim managerial support in the absence of a Practice Administrator and or Clinic Manager. Additional Responsibilities – Supports operational excellence by managing provider scorecards and maintaining an up ‑ to ‑ date performance dashboard to track key metrics across practices. Leads and implements practice ‑ level projects as assigned, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Regularly rounds in clinics to maintain operational awareness and to be prepared to step into interim leadership roles during manager absences. Tracks and follows through on action items related to team member engagement, provider engagement, and operational improvements. Monitors patient experience scores across practices and providers, identifying opportunities for improvement and partnering with leaders to drive positive outcomes. Key Relationships Reports to : Service Line Administrator Candidate Qualifications Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies. Bachelor's Degree required Minimum 1-2 years professional office experience (preferably healthcare related), and familiarity with health care organizations required. Masters of Health Administration or Masters of Business Administration may be accepted in lieu of experience. Accounting, Business, Management, Science or Health Administration concentration preferred. Experience using data to drive performance improvement, including data mining, data analytics, and maintaining or running operational dashboards strongly preferred.
