About The Position

Utilize industry-standard digital electronic equipment, including computers and related peripherals, to access, process, and transmit data as appropriate to the functional unit. Utilize discretion and confidentially in accessing, entering, compiling, and printing staff and/or student-related information, reports, and records. Process transactions necessary for the functional unit’s compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Input data related to scheduling, grades, attendance, and FTE reporting if appropriate to the functional unit. Correlate and verify accuracy of all required data. Produce reports, spreadsheets, and labels as requested by administration and staff. Prepare and maintain files and documents required by the program to comply with statutory requirements. Interact with various District schools/departments, outside agencies, and/or institutions to share requested information and facilitate the functionality of the program. Perform Medicaid administrative claims reimbursable activities as directed in accordance with Chapter 3 of the federally approved School District Administrative Claiming (SDAC) Guide. Compile policies and procedures with District, state, and federal guidelines when sharing information. Assist with general office tasks as needed in support of the department. Revised: 6/26/23

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of experience in an office setting using automated systems for information management.
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills; organizational and management skills.
  • Knowledge of general policies and procedures for the functional area of assignment.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, Public Records, Sunshine Law, FERPA, and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy, public information, and records retention.
  • Knowledge of and experience with industry-standard equipment, materials, practices, computers, and applications.
  • Ability to manipulate and communicate information, preferably using standard formats required by the functional unit.
  • Ability to perform basic office support tasks.
  • Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy minimum qualifications.

  • Associates degree from an accredited institution.
  • Four (4) years of experience in an office setting using automated systems for information management.
