About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Specialized Analytics Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location. Duties: Work with large internal and external data sets to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies. Identify data sources, conduct data retrieval from Citi’s legacy and big data platforms, and compile data using a variety of tools (such as SAS, SQL, Python, PySpark and R) in order to predict, improve and measure the success of key business outcomes. Analyze the data to translate it into critical insights that inform customer behavioral drivers and support building business strategy roadmap. Document the data requirements, perform data collection, processing and cleaning, and conduct exploratory data analysis using statistical models, algorithms, and data visualization techniques. Conduct financial forecasting and profitability analysis to provide data-driven product strategies for Cards Digital channels. Apply analytical, economic and statistical principles to evaluate and simulate the financial viability of product designs. Identify revenue drivers and assess long-term profitability of the prospect acquisitions in digital channels. Measure performance indicators in order to evaluate the performance of acquisition programs. Leverage statistical models, segmentation tools and machine learning models to develop customized targeting strategies, and proactively improve the efficiency in targeting, expense allocation and performance in digital channels. Partner with modeling teams to execute differentiated pricing based on value-driven custom scores. Determine impact of implementing model solutions on key business performance metrics. Facilitate optimization of investments in different digital acquisition sources and bidding for paid media channels through key performance analysis and marketing operational efficiency reviews. Design multi-variate tests to measure the performance of Cards acquisition programs and maintain a repository of historical offers and in-market testing data. Compare cross-channel test results and conduct sensitivity analysis. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, or related quantitative field and 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Analytics Senior Analyst, Model/Analysis/Validation Analyst, or related position involving data extraction and analysis to support strategy building and evaluation in the global financial services industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience.
