About The Position

The Critical Care RN is responsible for delivering comprehensive, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a complex and dynamic environment. This position oversees patients in three ICU units comprising 36 beds that support medical, surgical, and cardiac critical care, as well as stepdown acuity levels. ICU RNs are essential in providing continuous electronic cardiac monitoring and advanced interventions to stabilize and manage patients with life-threatening conditions, including those requiring isolatio n.

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certifications accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Unrestricted license to practice nursing in one of the States, Territories, or Commonwealths of the United States or the District of Columbia
• Minimum of three (3) years of current ICU nursing experience.
• ASN accepted; BSN preferred
• Education must have been completed at a school accredited by the ACEN or CCNE.
