Specialized Worker – MIG & Flux-Cored Welder

About The Position

Top Metal Solutions LLC is looking for experienced MIG and Flux-Cored Welders to join our growing fabrication team in Adkins, TX. This is a hands-on position for skilled welders who take pride in their craft, work safely, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment. Requirements

Authorization to work in the United States (valid work permit or status required).
Proven experience in metal fabrication or welding shop environments.
Ability to read and understand basic fabrication drawings.
Proficiency with MIG and Flux-Cored welding machines and related equipment.
Valid SSN or ITIN with valid work authorization, government-issued ID, and a U.S. bank account.
Ability to work effectively in a primarily Spanish-speaking environment.
Willingness to obtain AWS D1.1 and/or D1.3 certifications in the future (company-supported at later stages).
Lift up to 70 lbs without assistance.
Stand and weld for extended periods.
Work in environments with heat, dust, or noise.
Consistent use of PPE as required by OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MIG and Flux-Cored welding in flat and vertical positions.
Work with materials ranging from 11 gauge up to 1" thick.
Read and interpret welding symbols and basic blueprints.
Identify and correct common weld defects such as porosity or lack of fusion.
Set up, adjust, and operate welding machines (Millermatic 211, 252, 255).
Follow OSHA-based safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
