Specialty Equipment Operator & Mechanic qualifications and duties include, but are not limited to: Possesses a CDL A. CDL B applicants will be considered Experienced in operating an under-bridge platform truck and other heavy equipment Experience performing diesel engine diagnostics and repairs, and hydraulic system troubleshooting and repairs Servicing a variety of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, excavators, loaders, dozers, cranes, generators, air compressors, and specialty equipment Performing routine truck/equipment maintenance and inspections Troubleshooting and making general repairs Operating a variety of hand and power tools Working outdoors in all weather conditions; including but not limited to, snow, rain and varying temperatures Frequently required to stand, use hands to hold hand and power tools, finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear. Occasionally, the work requires the employee to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Works safely near and around highway traffic and noisy operations Ability to lift or carry up to 10 or 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs C.A.
