The June Program is a 3-week summer program that serves students in grades K-6 at the Campus School of Smith College. The program runs from June 1 – 18, Monday – Friday, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. This fun and exciting experience offers students the opportunity to participate in various activities on the Smith College Campus. Students in grades K-2 will utilize the Campus School facilities for activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games, kung-fu, water games, drama, sports, story-telling and more! Students in grades 3-6 will use Smith College athletic facilities and other buildings to participate in activities including: art, sports & games (basketball, badminton, dodgeball, pickleball, soccer), cooking, theater, science, nature exploration and more! Job Description - Specialty Instructor Lead and instruct students in a specialty area; plan and implement age and developmentally appropriate programming for students; manage equipment, maintain spaces, guide support staff and support students as they learn within a specialized area. Uphold and support program protocol, policies and procedures. Report to the program coordinator. Experience teaching and coaching students in grades 3-6 preferred. Specialty areas include general science, theater/drama, sports including basketball, soccer, tennis, and swimming, art, table top games (D&D).
