We are seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Therapy Department at Jamestowne, a short-term rehab facility with an additional focus on outpatient services, with Community First Solutions. In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services including evaluations, treatment planning, ongoing reassessments, and discharge planning while collaborating with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. You’ll diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, develop individualized treatment programs, and support residents in regaining or strengthening speech, cognition, and functional communication skills. Why We’ll Love You: You hold a current Ohio Speech-Language Pathology license, with a Master’s degree from an accredited SLP program. You bring at least two years of SLP experience, preferably in geriatrics or long-term care. You are skilled at evaluating communication and swallowing disorders, developing and modifying treatment plans, and documenting outcomes. You have strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset. You maintain high standards for infection control, safety, and therapeutic best practices. You are comfortable working with electronic health records and partnering with interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional resident care.
