Career growth and development Diverse and collaborative working environment Shift - Weekends General Summary: The Speech Language Pathologist specializing in Acute Care: Provides medically prescribed services for inpatients to restore function, minimize disability following disease, or injury, and to assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of functioning to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her disability.The job duties are to provide assessments and treatment activities with patients.Work frequently requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required
- Current CPR certification.
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship
- Experience in Acute care setting is required
Nice To Haves
- Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
