Job Summary Summary Responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech and language disorders. Routinely work with patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, and develop customized treatment plans to help them improve their communication skills.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree Speech Therapy required
  • Speech Language Pathologist [State License] required
  • speech pathology experience 3-5 years required
  • Familiarity of diagnostic assessments for speech language.
  • Employee must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to incorporate new clinical procedures sufficiently to perform clinical services independently.
  • Ability to perform functions associated with contemporary audiology and speech-language pathology scope of practice.
  • Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of state standards, federal and state regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology [CCC-A] preferred
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology [CCC-SLP] preferred
  • acute hospital experience 3-5 years preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders in patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide therapy to patients with various communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior speech pathologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
