The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides educationally related speech and language services to students with communication disorders that impact their educational progress. This role involves screening, assessing, and diagnosing speech, language, voice, fluency, and hearing disorders; developing and implementing therapy plans; monitoring student progress; and collaborating with educators, families, and the IEP team to support student success. The SLP ensures that students receive targeted interventions to maximize functional educational outcomes and achieve IEP goals.
