About The Position

Willow Academy is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to support our students' communication needs while working in a supportive, structured school setting. Willow Academy is a brand-new, ground-up program that merges the best qualities of ABA services with the collaborative atmosphere of a school environment designed for students with complex learning and behavioral needs. You’ll serve students with diverse communication profiles in a year-round, specialized school setting and receive enhanced training to ensure you are fully equipped and supported in this role. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including educators, BCBAs, and mental health professionals, to help students build meaningful communication skills that promote learning, connection, and independence. As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist at Willow Academy, you’ll provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication, social, and developmental challenges. You’ll conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct and consultative services to support each student’s unique goals. You’ll play a key role in helping students find their voices, literally and figuratively, while supporting their social-emotional and academic growth throughout the school day.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Current Colorado state licensure and CCC-SLP (or CFY with appropriate supervision).
  • Experience or interest in working with students with autism or complex communication needs.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • A compassionate, flexible, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM availability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student’s IEP goals.
  • Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in both individual and small group formats.
  • Collaborate closely with BCBAs, RBTs, multidisciplinary teams, and other support staff.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Contribute to IEP development and attend IEP meetings.
  • Maintain a professional, compassionate, and trauma-sensitive approach.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
