About The Position

Systematically evaluates the strengths, needs, preferences, and challenges of infants and children, in collaboration with the family, as part of a NJ Early Intervention Team. Collaborates with family and other Individual Family Service Plan Team Members to develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) which incorporates family priorities/concerns, clinical observation, and evaluation/assessment data to develop child and family outcomes. Implements evidenced-based instructional practices in the child s natural environment. Provides education, resources, and coaching to clients, family, caregivers, and health care professionals to promote and maintain health and well-being.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • 1 year of documented professional experience with individuals from birth to 5years of age who have developmental delays and disabilities.
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety Division of Consumer Affairs Audiology and Speech- Language Pathology Advisory Committee pursuant to N.J.S.A. and N.J.A.C.; This includes temporary licensure.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship Status
  • Family centered practices.
  • Knowledge of typical and atypical child growth and development
  • Functional computer skills.
