Speech Pathologist (CCC-SLP): Per Diem Days, MMC IP
About The Position
Are you a fully licensed (CCC-SLP) inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist who is looking for a per diem opportunity in Nationally Recognized Hospital? If so, Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem CCC-SLP for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Department at Morristown Medical Center for various weekday shifts and at least two weekend days per month and one holiday per year . The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility, have FEES and MBS competency and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients. Principal Accountabilities: Essential functions include adult patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately.
Requirements
- New Jersey License to practice Speech-Language Pathology ( CCC-SLP )
- Graduate of an accredited SLP academic program
Nice To Haves
- Preference given to candidates with weekend and weekday availability.
- Experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting.
- 2-5 years of experience as an SLP in an acute care hospital.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in instrumental evaluations for dysphagia.
