About The Position

Speech Therapist (ST) Reports To Director of Rehabilitation Job Summary Diagnoses and treats patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Develops therapy plans to maximize communication and swallowing safety. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic evaluations of speech, language, swallowing. Develop and implement therapy plans. Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes. Educate patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Current state license. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- KSAs Expertise in communication and swallowing disorders. Strong documentation skills. Ability to educate patients and families. Physical & Environmental Requirements Assist patients during therapy activities. Frequent sitting, standing, light lifting. Healthcare and LTC facility work environment.
