Position Summary: The Speech Pathologist provides therapeutic management of speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning. The successful candidate for this job posting will work at the new Irvine Acute Rehab Hospital, a joint UCI Health / LifePoint venture, anticipated to open summer of 2026.

Requirements

  • Speech Pathology License or proof of eligibility from California Board of Speech Pathology
  • If assigned to work with infants and children aged 0 to 21, CCS paneling/approval will be required within one year of hire if qualified for CCS paneling requirement
  • Demonstrated experience providing speech therapy to a diverse group of patients
  • Current BLS certification
  • Basic Life Support
