About The Position

The Sport Clubs Coach II (Badminton) is responsible for the coaching of the assigned Badminton club(s). Duties General : Responsible for coordinating practices; home and away competitions; and tournaments. Must be able to teach a wide array of participants from beginners to experienced high school and collegiate athletes. Properly instruct fundamentals and technique. Administrative: The coach will assist club leadership with short and long-term goals and a plan of action for the academic year. Performs other duties as assigned to support the department, division, and university.

Requirements

• Two years’ experience coaching at the youth, high school, junior college or collegiate club level and be a High School Graduate/GED.
• Effectively communicate with a diverse student population
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Organizational skills and experience commensurate with coaching at the collegiate club level.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
