Sports Bar Bartender
About The Position
Provide prompt, courteous service to customers and staff. Take food and beverage orders from guests at the bar. Prepare and serve beverages, including alcohol. Promptly and accurately relay food orders to Sports Bar kitchen staff. Accurately accept payment and make change during transactions. Utilize proper cash handling and control procedures. Operate POS terminal. Balance cash drawer. Ensure Sports Bar is adequately stocked with product (e.g. beer, liquor, juice, etc.) at all times. Prepare Sports Bar for service as needed (e.g. cutting fruit, washing dishes, etc.). Keep work area, liquor room and beer cooler clean and organized. Inform manager of any breakdown or malfunction of equipment. Ensure cleanliness and sanitization of Sports Bar on a daily basis. Follow proper policies and procedures pertaining to bookkeeping and money handling. Maintain all paperwork, audit sheets, closeouts, opening reports and other tallies as required. Set up, clean up and close down Sports Bar. Adhere to all company, department and safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of liquor service and applicable laws.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus.
- Knowledge of products and facility.
- Knowledge of sanitization practices.
- Knowledge of suggestive sales techniques.
