About The Position

As the Sports Director, you will oversee all aspects of sports and recreation programming, ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging experience for participants of all ages. Through strong leadership, thoughtful planning, and hands-on engagement, you will manage staff, develop practice and game schedules, organize clinics and leagues, and ensure program quality and compliance. This role focuses on strengthening parent/child and preschool programs, growing specialized offerings such as pickleball, and building programs that foster youth development, community connection, and a lifelong love of sports. During the summer months, the Sports Director also plays a key leadership role within our day camp programs, providing consistency, mentorship, and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • 2–4 years of related experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Experience teaching and coaching participants across a variety of ages and skill levels
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to keep staff, participants, and families informed clearly and consistently
