Amid uncommon scenic beauty, Members can savor the Island’s best offerings and create lifelong memories with family and friends. When you come to Kiawah, you’ll know if it’s right for you the moment you set foot on the Island. It produces a feeling you can’t quite describe but you never want to let go. We are seeking full time Sports Pavilion Attendants. The Sports Pavilion is a 10,000 sq. ft. facility providing daily group exercise classes, strength & cardio equipment, personal training, squash courts, basketball, tennis, swimming, kayak launch, food & beverage outlet, retail space, and locker room facilities utilized Members of the Kiawah Island Club. A Sports Pavilion Attendant assists with daily operations while providing the highest level of customer service to the membership and guests. This starting pay for this position is $18/hour with the potential for higher rates for candidates with relevant experience as well as opportunities for additional pay for specific tasks completed. This is a full time position!
Requirements
- A passion for customer service
- Experience in organized sports, health clubs, private clubs or customer service
- Flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Check-in members and guest with a warm friendly welcome
- Book tennis court, squash court, and kayak reservations
- Assist team members with the setup and breakdown of group exercise classes and equipment
- Launch and retrieve kayak and SUP rentals
- Maintain the cleanliness of general areas, locker room facilities, gym equipment, swimming pools and other amenities
- Assist members and guests in the food & beverage outlet and retail areas
