Sportsbook Ticket Writer- Part Time
About The Position

Company-paid gaming licenses (Class A & Class B). WHAT YOU’LL DO Exemplify MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism. Writes tickets and processes cash winning tickets. Aware of popular lines and odds in the Sportsbook. Effectively and consistently communicates sports betting rules. Ensues all information is accurately entered into the till and process any voided wagers. Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift. Committed to always working in a compliant environment in the Sportsbook and adhere to Tribal Gaming Commission reporting requirements. Calls for MTL support when writing bets requiring MTL paperwork. Loading paper in Sports Betting Kiosks when needed. Ensure Sports Book area is clean, and that the equipment is in proper working condition daily. Creates, maintains, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One (1) year of experience as a Sportsbook Writer preferred.
- Ability to promote products and services confidently and maintain high standards of professionalism.
- Ability to perform different tasks and follow procedures correctly, independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Read, write and speak English fluently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high volume and stressful environment.
- This position requires passing an assessment to move forward in the hiring process.
