Requirements

Experience with SQL Server administration, isolation levels, normalization, and relational database concepts.
Familiarity with Windows Server environments.
Ability to support database operations in a 24/7 environment when needed.
Hands‑on experience with SSIS and ETL processes (ZappySys a plus).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams.
Highly self‑directed, able to work independently, and effective at managing multiple deadlines.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable project tools.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of Power BI, PowerShell, PostgreSQL, or .NET (preferred but not required).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not required with equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and ETL workflows for data movement across diverse sources.
Administer and maintain SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments at a 99.9% uptime standard .
Manage SSRS reporting, including report creation, optimization, and system integration.
Oversee a hosted MongoDB environment and support cross‑platform data tasks.
Perform proactive performance tuning, capacity planning, and real-time monitoring.
Implement and execute database backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery strategies.
Develop automation scripts for routine DBA operations and monitoring.
Drive continuous improvement through monitoring, alerting, and system optimization.
