We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Submarine Communications and Electronics Surveillance Senior Advanced Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. We lead the charge in US NAVY VIRGINIA Submarine Weapons System Accuracy Trials (WSAT) test planning, execution, and report generation, as well as Submarine Test and Evaluation (T&E) support and data collection. Our dedicated T&E Team collaborates closely with the NAVY, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI (NUWCDIVNPT) to ensure the fleet assets are tested and battle ready. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: Plans the technical approach, resources, schedule, budget, and equipment required for testing. Evaluating new Submarine Communications and Surveillance systems, products, and special devices Travel is required roughly 20% of the time. Perform technical writing to include test procedures, plans and reports. Support various working groups and meetings. Capability to plan, test and report results of Communications, Electronic Surveillance, and other related systems onboard US NAVY Submarines in accordance with manufacturing and government specifications. Considered expert in Submarine Communications and Electronics Surveillance field within the organization.
