Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. Design, develop and verify Micron’s next generation analog and mixed signal integrated circuits as a part of the semiconductor chips used in the volatile and non-volatile memory interface products. Drive the layout of complex circuits through mask designers, to operate and high speeds and performance, in deep sub-micron ASIC technologies. Plan and participate in silicon bring up and characterization. Perform correlation between silicon and simulations, investigating discrepancies to provide root cause analysis and proposed design fixes to silicon issues. Present complex engineering ideas both to the design team and internal customers to explain design choices and provide insight into design tradeoffs. Provide feedback on the feasibility, or tradeoffs, of different circuit topologies in architecture development. Perform simulations to verify circuit functionality and performance. Deliver best-in-class memory products used in data centers, PCs, mobiles and automotive applications. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in an analog design engineer-related occupation. Position requires: 1. AMS design, Advanced CMOS, and FinFet technologies; 2. Circuit design with analog/mixed signal CMOS circuits; 3. High-speed Memory interfaces, including DDR3/4/5, LPDDR3/4x/5, GDDR5/6, ONFi, PCIe, M-PHY, HDMI, USB, or SATA 4. Independent ownership of sub-blocks: PLL, DLL, CDR, high-speed receiver, equalization, transmitter front end, high-speed data path, or high-speed clocking path 5. Analog and mixed signal circuits 6. Architecture tradeoffs in high-speed SerDes and PHY
