The Sr Analyst, Data & Metrics role provides guidance and support across J&J by proactively creating and gaining alignment for controlled substance (CS) metrics, data analytics and automated solutions to assure appropriate trending and continuous compliance and improvement, and upgrade where required.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree required with a focus in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). An advanced degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experienced in a Data and IT environment preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail, people skills, organized and ability to multi-task
  • Advanced computer/systems knowledge
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks in a timely manner and prioritize tasks
  • Demonstrated background understanding GMP, GxP and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Experience implementing goals, objectives and practices for efficient and cost-effective management of allocated resource
  • Demonstrated knowledge as a subject matter expert including knowledge of the new technologies, and capabilities for Data Analytics
  • Domestic travel will be on an as-need basis to global controlled substance facilities, conferences, and customer locations.

Responsibilities

  • Support (and lead where applicable) the development and maintenance of CS technology solutions and backend processes
  • Translating insights into outcomes; this will require development of new/revised CS metrics, dashboard visualization resulting in data insights to facilitate pro-active enhancements leading to lessening of CS processes.
  • Support system testing activities, development/enhancements, and launches for CS tools
  • Create, maintain, lead, and own applicable work instructions/Quality documents, training initiatives, and communications for CS technology solutions
  • Partnering across J&J to drive consistent approaches and decision making.
  • Challenge the status quo and encourage innovative thinking while bringing forth industry trends to the team.
