We’re looking for a Demand Planner who will grow at our Marysville, OH corporate headquarters. The Sr. Analyst, Demand Planning will lead and execute the demand planning process for the designated products and drive improvement in forecast error; work with Marketing and lead Brand Consensus; resolve demand-related questions by troubleshooting and working with other functions; drive improvement in forecast error by analyzing existing processes and making recommendations for improvement; drive tracking of performance of new items. In this role you will: -Create and monitor forecasts in JDA for all customers. This includes but is not limited to: correct set-up and data integrity within JDA, reviewing and correcting JDA exceptions and consumption issues, executing demand planning calendar tasks on time, attend and provide input on calls, understand statistical modeling and how user input impacts the forecast, and review daily consumption and take corrective action/research. -Provide one point of contact for all forecasting related questions from other functions, and utilize troubleshooting skills to work with other functions to correct any issues. -Collaborate with business development teams to incorporate customer specific information into the forecast. -Drive cross functional Consensus Meetings to review rolled up forecasts across each customer. -Proactively communicate known forecast changes on items and work to close operational vs. financial forecast gaps. -Be the subject matter expert on your item level data and forecasts. -Work on POS trend analysis, category analysis, volatility and forecast error history on items. -Track performance of new items across all customers. Drive improvement in new item processes and forecast error. -Drive continuous improvement by examining existing demand planning processes and making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in Demand Planning in retail or consumer products
  • Experience and working knowledge of SAP, JDA or similar demand planning systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access and Excel
  • Effectively partner cross-functionally within the organization
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of JDA Demand Planning
  • Experience working within a manufacturing CPG company
