About The Position

Otis is growing and we are recruiting for an Associate, Hydraulic Modernization Sales. The main goal of the role is to achieve sales growth through creating and managing customer relationships through sales achievement, situational problem solving, and comprehensive account management. This role covers the Los Angeles, CA area. On a typical day you will: Prospect, build, and maintain customer relationships; achieve or exceed sales objectives; serve as technical sales consultant to customers in the assigned territory. Responsible for both territory sales & margin growth. Manage and nurture account relationships to drive modernization sales. Assist with customer concern resolution to provide solution-based sales. Partner with branch business development sales team to identify business development opportunities for proactive modernization projects. Actively communicate competitive feedback and market dynamics internally to help further improve solution set and refine message. Use Otis’ sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results. Manage opportunities in the CRM pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of outside sales experience preferred
  • Experience in industrial or technical sales preferred (industry experience an asset but not required)
  • Experience in B2C or B2B sales
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to build clear expectations and strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • Strong customer‑centric mindset with a commitment to achieving high customer satisfaction
  • Self‑motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a technical environment, including proficiency with Microsoft‑based software
  • Strong leadership abilities, goal‑oriented focus, and solid time‑management and organizational skills
