About The Position

As part of the Chief Marketing Organization the Sr. Associate, Paid Social will be part of the Performance Marketing team. This individual will play a critical role driving the successful execution of Pfizer’s social media campaigns. The role is designed for individuals who have already mastered the basic principles of paid social media and are ready for increased responsibility when it comes to campaign creation and performance. The Sr. Associate will be part of our newly created In-House team, which leads social media from strategy to implementation. The ideal candidate will act as the day-to-day steward of activation activities with a proven track record in hands-on management and optimization.

Requirements

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience of hand-on experience exclusively in paid social campaign management; OR a master's degree with more than 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with all major social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with in-platform campaign optimizations.
  • Hands-on keys campaign and ad building.
  • Knowledge of tagging implementation and measurement best practices across social platforms.
  • Strong analytical abilities with the capability to interpret data, identify insights, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain performance results and rationale for any decisions made.
  • Ability to work well with multiple stakeholders across different projects under strict deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Pharma vertical preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of Pfizer social accounts such as performance monitoring, account optimization, and budget pacing.
  • Collaboration with Paid Social Managers and Senior Managers on project management and prioritization of tasks across a fast paced and dynamic set of brands
  • Management of all launch activities, i.e. trafficking, uploading, and QAing new materials once approved.
  • Data extraction and campaign analysis including the identification of trends, insights, and areas for optimization on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis.
  • Completion of in-depth marketplace and competitive research to inform campaign planning.
  • Understanding of native social platform and Privacy approved 3P audiences to assist in constructing campaign strategy
  • Expertise and advanced utilization of Paid Social media platforms/tools, i.e. Meta, Reddit, Pinterest, TikTok, X
  • Communication and collaboration with key external stakeholders, i.e. agency teams, creative teams, social platform teams
