About The Position

​Provide technical support and guidance for the development and maintenance of automation artifacts including the automation framework, grid, and automation scripts.
Conduct both manual and automation testing.
Conduct API testing using tools like REST Assured or Postman.
Work closely with the integration team to facilitate automation runs in the Integration environment.
Provide expertise in one or more of the following areas: automation test framework development, development of automation tests using core Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin, execution of automation test suites and documentation of defects.
All other duties as assigned or directed​

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
• 8+ years of experience with Automation and API testing
• 8+ years of experience on an Agile development team, preferable Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
• Expertise in using Selenium for web applications and automating regression test cases (Selenium WebDriver).
• Strong experience developing test scripts to implement Features, Test Scenarios and Step\-Definition for BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using Cucumber (Gherkins format) using customized test automation framework
• Experience developing Selenium automation framework using Junit/TestNG frameworks and developing Maven targets to execute automation suites.
• Experience with API Testing using tools like REST Assured or Postman
• Experience with JAVA, JavaScript\-based technologies
• Comprehensive knowledge of Agile development process and ceremonies including scrums, planning events, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in using Selenium for web applications and automating regression test cases (Selenium WebDriver/Selenium Box).
• Experience with Jenkins Auto jobs, Stash/Bitbucket
• Experience in configuring execution of automated regressions suite using Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience maintaining resources in configuration management tools, such as GitHub repository.
• Experience with Version One management tool
• Automation test results debugging.​
