Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in leading design, buildout, and operation of production systems at scale in the cloud.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with developer tooling, build systems, C++, Python.
  • Knowledge of compiler toolchain integrations (clang, gcc, nvcc).
  • Proven experience leading teams with significant company impact.
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to enhance processes and systems.
  • Deep understanding of the business ramifications of technology decisions.
  • Passion for nurturing individual developers' growth.
  • Empathy-driven leadership to promote a balanced team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team responsible for improvements to our C++ / Python / AI development ecosystem and workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineers across the organization to understand and support their development workflows.
  • Own technical projects from inception to completion, making significant technical decisions.
  • Drive complex cross-team projects with multiple partners and customers.
  • Facilitate planning, code reviews, and design discussions effectively.
  • Contribute impactful projects to the team’s roadmap while balancing team dynamics and career needs.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with visible contributions.
  • Advocate for software engineering best practices within the team and across the organization.
  • Mentor and support career development conversations for team members.
