About The Position

Total Wine & More is seeking a Senior Analyst, Corporate Systems to join our Technology team in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you will manage the delivery and ongoing support of multiple enterprise applications across HR, Store Operations, Payroll, and Finance, ensuring these systems effectively enable business goals and daily operations. As part of the Corporate Systems team, you will help guide and enhance new development initiatives, focusing on improving the value, reliability, and user experience of the applications relied upon by our business partners, employees, and candidates. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand needs, recommend solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement across our technology ecosystem. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Marketing & Corporate Systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Technology or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience 3-6 years
  • Experience managing all aspects of a medium to large-scale complex technology projects preferred 3-6 years
  • Experience working in software development or with SaaS solutions with exposure to all phases of the software development lifecycle preferred 1-4 years
  • Proficient in Workday integration tools, including EIB and Workday Studio, with hands-on experience in report creation, data validation, and system enhancement initiatives. preferred
  • System Integration Expertise Proven experience building and supporting both flat file and API-based integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and system connectivity.
  • Business and Technical Requirement Translation: Skilled in eliciting, documenting, and translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications for development and implementation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical capabilities in system configuration, troubleshooting, debugging, writing SQL queries, and performing thorough testing.
  • Project and Change Management: Experienced in managing projects and implementing change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and alignment with business objectives.
  • Methodological Adaptability: Proficient in applying various project methodologies, including waterfall, hybrid/iterative, and agile/SCRUM, tailored to project type and business needs.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills, fostering effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Workday integration tools, including EIB and Workday Studio, with hands-on experience in report creation, data validation, and system enhancement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee application support and vendor relationships with frequent interaction with application users and 3rd party software vendors, serving as the subject matter expert for operational support related activities.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, debug, and support technical solutions and integrations.
  • Coordinate maintenance, configuration changes, patches, and releases.
  • Plan medium to large, budgeted projects observing Project Management methodologies while managing all Vendor Documentation and Service Level Agreements
  • Manage and optimize system performance by monitoring application health, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions to ensure scalability and reliability.
