About The Position

Provide decision support through reporting and analysis to the USL commercial teams and/or Leaders as assigned. The position is responsible for partnering with the commercial team on matters such as: pricing request execution, customer contract/agreement management, pricing strategy & compliance monitoring, trend/variance tracking/reporting, and continuous improvements related to current systems/tools. Essential Duties Provide decision support to USL commercial teams and/or Leaders as assigned. Analyst will partner with Sales & Marketing to track and monitor rebates, fees, trends, and key variances utilizing various reporting tools, on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basis. Partner with sales and marketing to provide support for customers by executing pricing requests and ensuring all appropriate gross to net elements are accurate and complete in system prior to sending through for approvals. This also includes having a solid understanding of the terms and conditions of the contract and all necessary compliance elements needing consideration. Provide pricing strategy & execution support through pricing agreement creation/customer tracking/implementation via various tools used by the Commercial team. The position is responsible for partnering with Commercial/Finance/IT/Supply Chain to provide recommendations and support related to continuous improvements of current systems/tools. Maintenance of customer contracts and master data within ERP system.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Statistics or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of business/data analysis for decision support to business leaders.
  • Data analysis experience to include: monitoring and reporting on trends, variances, developing simple models and provide system recommendations that inform the business and help drive decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner, organizational, analytical, strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task, lead and coordinate with others to drive outcomes
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within Pharmaceutical Industry preferred.
  • Experience with IQVIA, Price Books, Orange Book, FDA website strongly preferred.
  • Experience with reporting tools (PowerBi) a plus.
  • exposure to Power bi and Data Warehouse a plus
  • Revenue Management System (specifically Vistex and SAP) experience strongly preferred
