About The Position

This role is designed for a strategic and results-driven professional who will lead channel partner relationships across a multi-state territory. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring partners are aligned with corporate objectives. By collaborating closely with sales, marketing, distribution, and technology partners, you will plan and execute go-to-market initiatives, enablement programs, and joint campaigns. Your work will directly impact partner productivity, identify new routes to market, and strengthen alliances. This position combines strategic planning, business development, and hands-on partner management, offering a high level of autonomy and influence. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is motivated by measurable business results. Travel up to 50% across the Southeast region is required to foster partner engagement and drive success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience selling high-technology products, preferably through and with channel partners.
  • Proven track record of managing channel accounts and meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Solid understanding of networking, data center, or security technologies, or related solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for executive, sales, and technical audiences.
  • Experience in a field-based role requiring travel up to 50% within a multi-state territory.
  • Self-starter with high energy, strong ownership, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Skilled at building trust-based relationships and influencing stakeholders across functions and organizations.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities for territory planning, partner segmentation, and pipeline development.
  • Resides in or near Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with channel partners in the Southeast region, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and growth targets.
  • Develop and execute joint planning, go-to-market initiatives, and marketing activities to drive revenue and partner engagement.
  • Maintain partner compliance with programs, agreements, and certifications, monitoring performance through quarterly business reviews.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners to expand geographic or vertical market coverage.
  • Collaborate with field sales, distribution, and technology vendors to identify opportunities, qualify leads, and manage joint campaigns.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners and vendors to uncover greenfield opportunities.
  • Monitor competitive trends, product developments, and market dynamics to optimize partner strategy.
  • Maintain accurate partner records, pipeline, and performance metrics in CRM systems.
