About The Position

The Senior Client Operations Analyst position for RBC US Global Asset Management is embedded in our Institutional Client Operations department. This role separates client-facing administration activities from back-office accounting activities. Primary responsibilities include working with our sales and other internal departments to coordinate and execute institutional client onboarding, ensuring a seamless client experience. Additionally, the role will be responsible for producing of custom client reporting supplements, completing client requests for information, and other internal support functions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience working within financial services and investments, preferably with prior experience in client onboarding, reporting, and project management
  • Ability to work independently and with a strong attention to detail
  • Effective problem solver with strong analytical and resolution skills
  • Strong aptitude and demonstrated proficiency in in computer skills in Windows-based software products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to integrate statistical data with written content to create responses to client inquiries

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field
  • Previous experience in the asset management business
  • Demonstrated skills, or willingness to learn programing to analyze and filter data sets, through tools such as Tableau or SQL and mining data from Salesforce.
  • Ability to design, or willingness to learn how to program dashboards that highlight trends and measure client metrics
  • Bloomberg, Eagle Investment Systems, Salesforce, or other client relationship management software experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate institutional client onboarding for domestic and global strategies for separate account and private fund vehicles
  • Responsible for new account setup, including RBC GAM system setup and coordination with internal teams on required items needed to commence trading.
  • Accountable for quality and accuracy of new account setup and inventory of required documentation
  • Produce and deliver custom supplemental client reports not provided in our standard reporting package
  • Working with fixed income investment team to load and reconcile securities for the Access Capital and Impact strategies to internal systems
  • Fulfill client and consultant requests for performance, analytics and accounting data
  • Responsible for the timely completion of client deliverables, including sub-advisory reporting requirements, client questionnaires, audit requests, and other client certifications
  • Administer the client portal and respond to client inquiries related to the portal
  • Work with compliance to deliver required client mailings; such as ADVs, ERISA disclosures and audited financial statements
  • Collaborate across teams globally to resolve client issues, questions and concerns
  • Maintain and organize client records to comply with record retention requirements
  • Evaluate and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies in client reporting by working with business partners across the global organization

  • The expected salary range for this particular position is $55,000-$95,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
