Meet the team: The Data Management team is a highly skilled and dynamic team responsible for the accuracy, integrity and quality of clinical data from collection to database lock. You will be responsible for data management and data engineering activities including, but not limited to, supervising and performing database development, testing, and validation, maintaining data pipeline and automation and processing clinical trial data to ensure the completeness, accuracy and consistency of clinical trials databases. Where you come in: You perform all database development, testing, and validation activities with no or minimal supervision in clinical data management that each clinical study database is designed in accordance with the database definitions outlines in the DMP. You will identify the bottlenecks of data flow and analysis, architect and implement solutions such as automation of data processing pipelines, optimization of data queries, and enhancement of data visualization and interpretation You will explore and evaluate new data sources to incorporate into our product improvement and modify and continue to improve current data infrastructures and pipelines You will coordinate and complete data management activities to meet project timelines and maintain 4-5 study databases and data management activities concurrently You will perform database quality control audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper use of clinical data system You will work with cross-functional teams including Clinical Affairs, R&D and other stakeholders to facilitate data access and data delivery in terms of reporting and data integration. You will organize and clean clinical data and device data and prepare for further processing and analysis You will develop study specific annotated CRFs, database documentation, edit check specifications, data handling conventions and data entry instructions. What makes you successful: Your advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Your proficiency with SQL, Python and some forms of ETL solutions. Your experience with contributing to the building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets. Your working knowledge of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets. Your experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Preferred to have a minimum 2-4+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role, with exposure to the following software/tools - SAS include SAS base/graph/listing, Relational SQL ,Data visualization software such as Power BI, Python, RShiny, Data pipeline and workflow management tools Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical environment is preferred. Travel Required: 5-15% Experience and Education Requirements: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience. Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics or a related field is preferred
