About The Position

The Opportunity: The Sr Cloud Engineer at Euna Solutions is a key player responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure. With a focus on continuous monitoring, incident response, and automation, the role encompasses alert management, compliance auditing, and proactive measures to optimize and scale cloud resources. This position requires a hands-on approach to cloud resource provisioning, maintenance, and access control. The Sr Cloud Engineer plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our cloud infrastructure and supporting the seamless operation of critical services and products at Euna Solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and resources to meet Euna’s requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance for public applications. Implement monitoring solutions to track the performance, availability, and health of cloud resources and infrastructure. Ensure that all cloud resources comply with industry standards and company policies regarding security and data protection. Implement automation tools and frameworks for efficient deployment and management of cloud resources. Implement and manage access controls for cloud infrastructure. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud resources. Monitor cloud expenditure and implement strategies to control costs without compromising on performance and security. Collaborate with development, SRE, and security teams to ensure cloud operations align with the company's technical and business objectives. Monitor and implement alert strategies for cloud infrastructure. Take ownership of cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed successfully. Develop thorough documentation and diagrams to support and explain complex systems. Guide and develop junior cloud engineers Participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years in cloud computing, proficient in AWS.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Background in SaaS with experience across multiple product lines.
  • Extensive experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as cloud-native tools like CloudFormation, ARM, and Terraform.
  • Profound knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, with expertise in utilizing a wide range of cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, Lambda, etc.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, PowerShell, Bash.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, capable of working across departments and with external parties.
  • Proficient in Git operations and version control, with hands-on experience in GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
  • Proficient in CDN technologies and offerings.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in Azure is a plus.
  • Expertise in GCP is an additional plus
  • Experience in cloud security and StateRAMP certification.
  • Previous experience with Jira.
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification or equivalent
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification or equivalent
