This role Sr. Compliance Analyst works out of our Lake Forest, IL location in the Cardiometabolic business unit in Abbott Rapid Diagnostics. Our medical devices help more than 10,000 people have healthier hearts, improve quality of life for thousands of people living with chronic pain and movement disorders, and liberate more than 500,000 people with diabetes from routine fingersticks. As the Sr. Compliance Analyst, you’ll have the chance to assist with meeting the division’s strategic direction and tactical implementation of internal and external audits, error remediation and other tactical objectives to ensure that all the OEC expectations are in compliance with current regulations and standards. Will interface with customers, sales and other internal support functions to ensure consistency and integrity in contract processing and compliance with terms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management; Finance; Marketing or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience (in Contracting, Marketing, Sales, Compliance, Finance or data analysis is preferred).
  • The person hired will also show demonstrated skill such as the ability to consistently provide clear and concise written and verbal communications; good presentation skills, analytical capabilities and critical-thinking skills and problem resolution skills.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year demonstrated knowledge of contracting and pricing strategies.
  • At least one year of experience working within the organization’s strategy and understand how day-to-day activities support this strategy.
  • At least one year of experience working with or in a sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform required OEC disclosures, monitoring and audits.
  • Oversee the preparation and implementation of internal and external compliance audits and remediate any errors to ensure integrity and adherence to applicable guidelines.
  • Maintains current knowledge of applicable Ethics and Compliance procedures in order to be effective in an audit capacity and as a subject matter expert.
  • Develop and implement communication package to the field for noncompliant contracts including contract compliance data analysis and calculations. Work closely with Sales Management and Sales Reps to develop compliance communication strategy.
  • Develop specific recommendations, under guidance of manager, for field implementation of contract compliance, along with maintaining a priority list based on noncompliance including data analysis and calculations.
  • Track and document metrics including business impact, action and resolution steps of all contract interventions.
  • Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job; has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activities (is this required language, this isn’t applicable to this job?)
