About The Position

The Senior Contracts Administrator plays a critical role in supporting Shermco’s revenue-generating operations by managing the high-volume contract documents that directly impact project execution, billing, and revenue recognition. This role focuses on the rapid review, coordination, and routing of operational contract documents—including change orders, work orders, and scopes of work issued under existing negotiated agreements. The Senior Contracts Administrator works closely with sales, operations, and project management teams to ensure contract documentation moves efficiently while remaining aligned with negotiated contractual terms and company risk standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years direct experience in contract administration, commercial operations, or legal operations
  • Strong experience managing high-volume contract documentation in fast-paced operational environments
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across sales, operations, and finance teams
  • Experience working with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems or similar contract databases (iCertis a plus);
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and fast turnaround expectations

  • Familiarity with master service agreements (MSAs), work orders, scopes of work, and change orders
  • Experience supporting contract reporting, audits, or compliance initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Review and process high-volume operational contract documents including change orders, work orders, and scopes of work issued under existing master agreements.
  • Ensure documents are aligned with previously negotiated contract terms before execution and project release.
  • Support fast-track routing and approvals for revenue-generating documents to prevent delays in project execution and billing.
  • Identify deviations from negotiated terms and escalate to the Contracts Management team when necessary.
  • Act as a central coordination point to ensure contract documents move quickly through internal review and approval workflows.
  • Partner closely with sales, project management, operations, and finance teams to facilitate efficient contract execution.
  • Become a power user and subject-matter resource for the company’s CLM platform.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and ensure documents are properly entered, categorized, and tracked in the system.
  • Assist with internal audits, reporting requirements, and process improvements tied to contract administration workflows.
