About The Position

As a Sr Controllership Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the controllership function within our finance team. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies, and driving financial close processes. You will report directly to our finance leadership and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the financial health of our operations by providing critical insights and analysis that support strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • US PERSON REQUIREMENT Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support the controllership function by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
  • Assist in driving the financial close processes, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations.
