About The Position

The Copywriter at Alight Solutions would be responsible for creating compelling and brand-consistent content across multiple marketing channels. This role would typically involve working with cross-functional marketing teams to develop messaging that communicates the value of Alight's human capital and benefits technology to clients and their employees.

Requirements

  • Exceptional writing skills: A portfolio demonstrating creative, compelling and error-free writing for a variety of mediums.
  • B2B and SaaS experience: Experience writing for a business-to-business (B2B) audience, preferably in the human resources, benefits, or cloud-based software industries.
  • Strategic thinking: The ability to interpret creative briefs and develop copy that aligns with broader marketing campaigns and company objectives.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated success working with designers, creative staff, and subject-matter experts.
  • Project management: Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • 8+ years of applicable experience, most recently in a copywriting or editing role in either a corporate, or agency environment
  • Alight requires all virtual interviews to be conducted on video.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain brand language guide: Use Alight’s formal Positioning Document to develop and maintain a brand language guide, offering various ways to communicate key messaging for different channels.
  • Content creation: Write clear, creative and engaging copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including: - Digital display ads - Video scripts - Website and landing pages - Case studies - Email - Landing pages - Event messaging - Sales sheets - Social media - Some internal communications
  • Brand voice: Uphold and manage the Alight brand voice and messaging, ensuring consistency across all communications.
  • Strategic collaboration: Work with marketing, design and product teams to develop and execute content strategies that align with business goals.
  • Research and interpretation: Distill complex, technical information about benefits and human capital technology into persuasive and easy-to-understand copy for a target audience (i.e., clients and brokers).
  • Editing and proofreading: Review and edit content produced by other marketing team members to ensure quality, accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
